DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Cooler temperatures and rain in spots contributed to slippery roads and a few accidents in the Miami Valley Friday morning.

Bridges and overpasses may freeze due to the lower temperatures so caution while driving is advised.

An accident in Germantown on Manning Road and Venus Road had that area blocked for a time Friday morning. There was another accident on Mudlick Road at Astoria Road in Germantown as well.

Greene County reports slippery roads around Clifton Road near Larkins Road and Washington Mill Road near Stewart Road.

Clark County tells us they are seeing problems on Haddix Road. Police or responding to a couple accidents there. Clark County Dispatch says the 10400 block of Haddix Road is very icy.

Warm air will push temperatures into the upper 40’s Friday but there are still areas of freezing rain around as people get ready to head out the door.
