Crews respond to Harrison Township home for fire

HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) — Crews were called to a Harrison Township home after flames sparked Saturday afternoon.

It happened in the 2500 block of Falmouth Avenue before 2 p.m. Saturday.

No one was home at the time. Firefighters worked quickly to douse the flames and contacted the homeowner.

The homeowner tells 2 NEWS his wife left something on the stove. Fire officials said grease caused the fire.

No word on damage estimates.
