DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Storm Team 2 Meteorologist Jamie Jarosik says it will be dry but cold Monday.
We will see clouds increase later in the day as the next system drops down from the northwest. This will bring the chance for snow showers Monday night into Tuesday morning. Accumulation will be light again but gusty winds will cause blowing and drifting snow and roads will be slick.
The cold also caused several school delays. You can see a complete list of closings and delays by going to our closings page.
You will also want to make sure your children are bundled up when they do head for the bus stop. The wind is making it feel far colder than what the thermometer says.
What can you expect the next few days? Here is a look:
MONDAY: Morning sunshine, clouds increase during the afternoon, breezy. High 24
MONDAY NIGHT: Cloudy with light snow developing, breezy. Low 21
TUESDAY: Mostly cloudy, light snow, very windy. High 23
WEDNESDAY: Partly sunny and still cold. High 21
We will have a couple dry days Wednesday and Thursday before the chance for showers returns again towards the end of the week.
