INDIANA (NBC) – Workers at an Indiana auto shop made a surprise discovery when they opened the trunk of a repossessed SUV: A dog, freezing and hungry, surrounded by his own waste.
“Right now all he wants is just someone to pay attention to him,” said Jim Tate of Clinton County Humane Society director.
Friendly and obedient, the 1-year-old pit bull mix has made quite the impression with his new friends at the Humane Society.
He even has a new name: “Repo,” because of who found him, and where.
“I call him Po for short,” said Tate. “We got a phone call from Superior Auto. They went to repossess an SUV, and when they were coming back with it, they heard something in the back.”
