Wisconsin children found in Ohio

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WDTN) – The Ohio State Highway Patrol tells 2 NEWS they were notified by police in Wisconsin that a vehicle with “endangered persons” in it may be headed to Ohio.

Wednesday morning the Franklin, Wisconsin Police said the mother and the two children were found safe in East Cleveland.

An Amber Alert had been issued Tuesday night for  9-year-old Zidan Abdallah and his brother, 6-year-old Kadeen Abdallah.

Police said at the time the two were believed to be in a silver 2010 Honda Insight driven by the mother, 32-year-old Nahla Abdullah.

Police in Wisconsin now say the brothers are safe and in protective custody.

The investigation is ongoing.
