TIPP CITY, Ohio (WDTN) — Two juveniles were arrested in connection with a stolen vehicle and stolen cell phones.

After 6 a.m. Saturday Troy Police received a report of a stolen van. The suspects’ descriptions matched the suspects of a previous stolen vehicle that was spotted fleeing Troy.

About 20 minutes later, Tipp City Police tried to stop the stolen van with four people inside when a pursuit ensued. The van exited onto Northwoods Boulevard in Vandalia, traveled onto North Dixie in Butler Township and then into Harrison Township.

The suspects reportedly ditched the van in an abandoned shopping center. Police captured two of the four suspects.

Officials discovered the two were juveniles and had cell phones that were stolen from the Sprint store in Beavercreek. Police said they were also wanted in connection with a stolen vehicle out of Moraine and a breaking and entering at a cell phone store in Huber Heights. Both juveniles were charged with receiving stolen property, thefts, and other various charges.

Tipp City officers are still looking for the other suspects. If you have any information that could help, call Crime Stoppers at 937-222-7867.
