BUTLER TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) — Police are looking for a suspect and two vehicles wanted in connection for fake bills.
Butler Township Police said three suspects used fake $100 bills at several retailers between 8 and 10 p.m. Thursday.
Michael Marshall of Columbus is in custody. The vehicle he was reportedly driving, a dark-colored Chrysler 300, has not yet been located.
The second suspect is described as a light skinned black male in his early to mid 20’s, stocky build, goatee and/or thin beard, longer hair in a pony tail. Police say he was seen driving a light tan or silver mini van with several people inside. Officers said the vehicle has been located, but they have not found the suspect and need help identifying him.
Police have identified the third suspect as Matthew D.L. McClain, 18, of Columbus. He’s described as a light skinned or Hispanic male in his early 20’s, stocky build, short hair and heavily tattooed arms. Police say he was seen driving a light beige or silver 4 door mid sized car with a sunroof. Officers are still looking for him and the vehicle.
