DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A student was arrested for reportedly having heroin in his pocket at a Dayton high school.
Police were called to Thurgood Marshall High School at 4447 Hoover Avenue Friday around 9:30 a.m. on a drugs complaint.
The security guard said a student walked through the metal detector and set off the alarm. The guard said when he was patting down the student, he found a clear plastic baggie containing eight capsules of suspected heroin in the student’s pocket. The guard then called Dayton Police.
The student was arrested for felony drug possession. He was booked into the Juvenile Detention Center.
