Wind knocks out power to thousands in Butler & Warren Counties

CINCINNATI, Ohio (WDTN) – Duke Energy reported more than 9,000 customers without power in Ohio and Kentucky Friday afternoon due to the high winds.

At 5 p.m. there were 225 outages in Butler County and 3,768 in Warren County. The majority of customers affected were in the Springboro area.

By 7 p.m. power had been restored to all but 459 customers in Butler County and 161 in Warren County.

Customers should call 800-543-5599 to report outages.
