DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A suspected drunk driver was arrested after police said he slammed a truck into a Dayton home.
Edgar Guevara, 40, was arrested on charges of OVI and prohibited acts.
Police said Guevara veered off the road, hit a power pole, a car, and then slammed into a home in the 1900 block of Valley Street. It happened Saturday after 1:30 a.m. Officials said Guevara was likely intoxicated.
Officers said while they were investigating, Guevara gave them a fake driver’s license.
Police stated Guevara refused both a field sobriety test and a chemical test. He denied driving the truck despite multiple witness reports.
Guevara was booked into the Montgomery County Jail.
