Police called for stabbing victim at Mount Crest

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Dayton Police are looking for clues after a man was stabbed.

Officials were called to the 600 block of Mount Crest Court Friday around 7:45 p.m.

When officers arrived, they found a man covered in blood walking toward the parking lot. Officials said he was disoriented and fell on the ground when he reached the curb. The man was transported by medics to Miami Valley Hospital.

The man told police he was playing a “dice game” at an apartment building on Radio Road. Officers said the man refused to tell them who he was with or what led to his injuries.

Police met with the resident of the Mount Crest apartment where officers found the man. She told them that the man is her child’s father. She said he showed up at her door covered in blood, but wouldn’t tell her what happened.

Police said they checked and found the man had been trespassed before from the Mount Crest property. The man was issued a summons for criminal trespass.

Currently, there is no suspect information. Police are still investigating.
