Rollover in Darke County shuts down road

DARKE COUNTY, Ohio (WDTN) – A rollover accident in Darke County Thursday morning had deputies closing the roadway.

A pickup truck lost control and rolled on its side around 5:15 Thursday morning.

The accident happened at the intersection of New Madison-Coletown Road and Hollansburg-Arcanum Road.

Deputies tell 2 NEWS the pickup was traveling south on New Madison-Coletown Road and tried make a right turn.

The driver, 32-year-old Randy Hines, was taken to Wayne Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Deputies say weather looks to be a large factor in the crash but they are citing the driver for failure to control his vehicle.

The intersection was closed while crews removed the pickup truck from the scene.
