Crews respond to airplane trouble at airport

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Crews were called to the Dayton International Airport to take care of trouble on a plane.

It happened around 10 a.m. Friday morning.

According to a DAI spokesperson, smoke was reported in the cockpit of a United Airlines flight to Denver before takeoff.

The pilots were the first to noticed the smoke as it filled the cockpit.

Terry Slaybaugh tells 2 News that there were 36 passengers aboard, not including crew. It turned out to be an air condition issue

Slaybaugh says that it turned out to be an air condition issue. There were no reports of anyone being hurt.
