VIDEO: Daring SUV fire rescue caught on dashcam

CORPUS CHRISITI, Tex. (NBC News) –  A Texas police officer pulls a driver from a burning vehicle and its all caught on camera.

The incident happened Monday evening when the driver of an SUV crashed into a guardrail in Corpus Christi and caught fire.

When officer Jon McGinley arrived on scene he used his baton to break out the passenger side window of the wrecked and burning Chevy suburban

He then opened the door and with the help of another person, pulled the 29-year-old driver to safety.

The driver suffered minor injuries in the incident.

So far, the driver has not been charged with any violations.
