Car batteries stolen from recycling center

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Dayton Police are looking for two men who reportedly stole car batteries from a Dayton business.

Officers were called Cohen Recycling located at 1797 Valley Street Friday around 3:30 p.m.

A worker told police two people wearing all black broke into the lot by cutting the fence. He said they then made their way into the yard and cut a lock to get to a forklift. He told police the suspects drove the forklift to the back of the property, causing damage to the forklift. He said they then stole approximately ten used car batteries.

Police are reviewing surveillance video.
