House destroyed by fire in Preble County

PREBLE COUNTY, Ohio (WDTN) — A house was destroyed by a fire in Preble County after flames ripped through it Saturday morning.

Crews from multiple fire departments were called to the 7600 block of West Elkton Gifford Road around 7:30 a.m.

2 NEWS spoke to the grandmother off camera. She said the family made it out of the home safely, and no one was hurt.

No word yet on how the fire started.

The house is a total loss.
