Police trying to determine what led to stabbing

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Dayton Police are investigating after a man was stabbed.

The victim’s girlfriend said she picked him up from Jay & Jeans Tavern at 1124 Leo Street and took him back to their apartment. She said he went to bed, and when she went to check on him, she noticed he had blood on his back. She then called 911.

Medics arrived at the apartment and said the victim was highly intoxicated. They said he had a cut on his upper back.

He was taken to Grandview Hospital for treatment where doctors determined the man had been stabbed.

Police said the victim was uncooperative.

Right now there is no suspect information.
