DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A woman was arrested for drugs at the airport.

Police on patrol at the Dayton International Airport Friday before 7 p.m. noticed a blue Saturn drifting and crossing over lanes. An officer stopped the car, approached the vehicle, and made contact with the driver. Police said she was apologetic and told them she was at the airport to retrieve a rental car with her boyfriend.

Police said her pupils were dilated, and when she was rummaging through her purse for her license, they said they could see several pill bottles.

Officers checked records and found she had two open suspensions for non-compliance and had an active warrant. Officers gave her a field sobriety test.

Police said she was hiding cocaine in her shoe. Officials said they also found a plastic baggie of crack cocaine, Xanax pills, and burnt brillo. They said one of the pill bottles in her purse appeared to contain marijuana.

She was booked into the Montgomery County Jail. She’s expected in court Monday.
