DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A man wanted in connection with a Dayton homicide is in custody.
Jerry Ramey, Jr. was booked into the Montgomery County Jail just before 9 p.m. on Tuesday. He is being held on a preliminary murder charge.
Police had named Ramey as a suspect in the death of Earl Davis, 45, who was found dead inside a home on Strand Avenue late Monday.
Investigators said the two men were longtime friends. They believe Davis was killed during a physical alteration with Ramey.
