SWAT called out to Darke County home

A standoff is reported in Darke County Saturday afternoon. It was called off around 2:30 p.m. when the suspect was eventually taken into custody (WDTN Photo/Ken Jarosik).

DARKE COUNTY, Ohio (WDTN) — The SWAT team surrounded a building in Darke County where a reported “wanted suspect” was inside.

Crews were called to the 200 block of South Division Street around 12 p.m. Saturday. The standoff was called off just before 2:30 p.m.

The man, who has not yet been identified, reportedly barricaded himself inside the building. It is unclear what he may be wanted for by police.
