Bicyclist struck by car in Dayton

A bicyclist was reportedly struck near the intersection of Shoup Mill Road and Riverside Drive (WDTN Photo/Darren King).

HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) – Crews are on scene of a bicyclist hit by a car Tuesday afternoon.

It happened around 4:45 p.m. near the intersection of Riverside Drive and Shoup Mill Road in Harrison Township.

Dayton police say a car have run a red light, hitting the victim. Police say the victim did not suffer serious injuries.

The victim suffered two broken ankles, according to a press release from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
