TROY, Ohio (WDTN) – A Troy man is in custody Tuesday afternoon after he is arrested following a steroid investigation.
Joshua Studebaker, 36, was arrested after a “several month long undercover investigation” into the creation and trafficking of illegal anabolic steroids, according to a statement from the Miami County Sheriff’s Office.
“Numerous vials of various steroids, packages of steroids in powder form, chemicals and manufacturing equipment for the processing of the powder into liquid steroids for the purpose of sale,” according to the statement. Two firearms were also recovered. Additional charges are pending results of laboratory testing.
Juveniles were living at the home, and were present at the time of the search warrant, according to the statement.
Studebaker has been charged with one count of trafficking, one count of manufacturing in the vicinity of a juvenile and one count of possession of steroids.
