Ramp to US-35 from I-75 will close through October

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The Ohio Department of Transportation is closing the ramp from I-75 north to U.S. 35 west starting Saturday. The closure will be in effect until October 31.

The closure will be in effect until October 31.

The official detour runs through downtown on Jefferson, Washington and Ludlow streets.

Just this week ODOT announced the I-75 modernization project is ahead of schedule and under budget, and the company in charge of the construction, Kokosing, stands to earn up to a $3 million bonus for early completion.

The project began in 2010 and is estimated to cost a total of $71 million.
