DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) –  Dayton Police responded to an alarm at a Dayton auto repair shop and found a broken window but initially thought no one went inside.

The alarm sounded at the Goodyear Service Center on Otterbein Avenue. The alarm went out as a fire alarm and Dayton Fire crews were already on scene when police arrived.

According to a police report on the incident, officers saw a broken window in a roll-up door but it did not appear anyone went inside.

Police called a manager to the business who told them after he arrived that a television was missing from the waiting area. The manager told police this is the third time a TV had been stolen from the shop.
