DP&L reporting outages after high winds

MIAMI VALLEY, Ohio (WDTN) — Winds knocked out power and uprooted trees all across the Miami Valley Saturday afternoon.

According to the DP&L outage map, roughly 16,000 were without power at the height of the wind warning.

A majority of the outages were in Miami, Greene, and Montgomery counties.

As of 8 a.m. Sunday morning, approximately 5,000 people were still without power. Most of the outages reported Sunday morning were still in Montgomery County.

DP&L crews are working to make repairs and restore power to customers.
