AIDS walk raises $30K in Dayton

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — More than $30,000 was raised in Dayton Saturday to support AIDS research.

Saturday’s walk in Dayton marked the third walk so far in Ohio; the others have taken place in Toledo and Columbus.

About 200 walkers hit the pavement for about a three-mile course. Runners, walkers bikers were all welcome.

Organizers said overall, about $300,000 has been raised across Ohio in the fight against AIDS.
