Police were on patrol at 4 South Main Street around 4:30 p.m. Friday when a fight broke out inside.

Officers reviewed surveillance video showing the victim sitting on one of the benches inside with his head down minding his own business. They said the video then showed a man charge at the victim and punch him in the head and face numerous times.

Police said the victim had his head down and never saw the other man coming at him.

Officials said the victim then tried to run away, but the man chased the victim and tackled him to the ground. The victim’s face hit the floor and the fall cut his face.

Sean Evans, 21, was arrested on charges of felonious assault.

Medics were called to treat the victim. He was then taken to Miami Valley Hospital for his injuries.

Evans is expected in court Monday.
