Multiple shots fired inside Dayton apartment building


DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Dayton Police are investigating after multiple shots were fired inside an apartment building.

Police were dispatched to the 900 block of Neal Avenue Saturday around 2:45 a.m. after a person called 911 to report several shots in the hallway.

Officers found several shell casings in the building on the second floor. They also found multiple bullet holes at the end of the hallway. Some of the bullet holes were through the door of apartment 18. Other holes were in the door jam and the wall.

No word on if anyone was injured. No arrests have yet been made.
