14-year-old Dayton girl found safe

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Fourteen-year-old Aeris Tonkin turned herself in to police, after she reportedly left her foster care group home in Dayton on Sunday.

According to Montgomery County Children’s Services, she had been staying with a friend in West Carrollton.

Tonkin has been returned to the group home.
