Former Wittenberg student charged with sexual assault

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WDTN) – A former Wittenberg University student has been charged with sexual assault of several students.

Charges were approved by a Clark County grand jury against Franklin Sullivan, 23 from Milford, Ohio.

Wittenberg Police are running the investigation with Springfield Police.

Court records show Sullivan faces four counts of rape and two counts of gross sexual imposition. Police say Sulivan was expelled from school after the investigation began.

The Wittenberg Athletics website shows Sullivan was a pitcher for the baseball team.

Sullivan is due in court  April 29 at 10 a.m.
