Police were called to the 400 block of Fountain Avenue Saturday before 6:30 p.m. on reports of an assault.

The victim told officers he got into a verbal argument with his roommate. The victim said he bought expensive cranberry juice, and his roommate drank it all. The victim said while they were arguing, his roommate then took a glass coffee pot and hit him in the arm, causing the pot to break and cut his arm.

The victim said his roommate then started taking items out of his bedroom and throwing them at him. He said his roommate also picked up a rock and threatened to hit him in the head with it. The victim then called police.

Aaron Johnson, 26, was arrested on charges of assault and aggravated menacing. He was booked into the Montgomery County Jail. He is expected in court Monday.
