Bomb threat evacuates high school

LEBANON, Ohio (WDTN) – Lebanon High School was evacuated Monday after a bomb threat was received by the school.

According to the Lebanon Police Department, school staff told them they received a note claiming there was a bomb in the school and they were evacuating the building around 12:40 p.m.

Lebanon Police and the Lebanon Fire Department went to the school.  A search was performed and nothing was found. Students were back in class shortly after that.

Police say an active investigation is ongoing.
