Crews battle Washington Township fire

No injuries reported in late night fire.

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) Fire investigators believe lightning may have caused a fire in Washington Township.

It happened around 11:30 on Sunday night in the 5100 block of Wilmington Pike.

Crews say they could see the smoke when they arrived and found fire in the attic.

Firefighters were able to knock down those flames.

DP&L and Vectren were both called to the scene.

No injuries were reported.
