No gun found at elementary school

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) –  Montgomery County Dispatch told 2 NEWS they did receive a call Thursday afternoon from a school security officer about a student with a gun.

Dayton Public Schools tell 2 NEWS a parent allegedly saw a 13-year-old with a gun during dismissal Thursday at Wogaman Elementary School. When the school resource officer caught up with the student no gun was found.

DPS tells 2 NEWS no was was detained and the allegation is unsubstantiated.

2 NEWS has a crew on the scene.
