Suspects get away with at least $500 in gas station robbery

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Dayton Police are searching for three suspects who robbed a gas station.

Police were called Friday to the Valero station located at 201 Valley Street.

Officers said surveillance video showed the suspects throw a piece of concrete through the entrance door window. They said one suspect then entered the store and started chasing a worker. The suspect had a handgun and forced the worker toward the cash register and demanded money. A second suspect came inside the store while the third person acted as the lookout. The suspects then ran from the store.

A woman who was there buying cigarettes at the time was able to give police a description.

Police believe the suspects got away with at least $500. The worker was not hurt.
