Dragons rained-out on Friday night

DAYTON, Ohio – The Midwest League game between the Dayton Dragons and Bowling Green Hot Rods at Fifth Third Field on Friday, May 20 has been postponed due to rain.  The game was delayed from the start and never got underway due to consistent rain.

Friday’s game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Saturday, May 21 starting at 6:00 p.m. at Fifth Third Field.  Gates will open at 5:30 p.m.  Both games will be seven-inning games.

The Dragons and the Dayton Development Coalition will hold the first of two Hometown Heroes™ Celebration Nights on Saturday.  Special festivities will take place between games of the doubleheader.  Lt. Gen. John Thompson, the commander of the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, will swear in 20 new Air Force recruits.  Maj. Gen. Robert McMurray, Commander of the Air Force Research Laboratory, and Tech. Sgt. Austin Hardin of the 88th Air Base Wing Legal Office, will throw out a first pitch prior to the second game.  Wright Brass will play the national anthem prior to the second game.  During the national anthem, the Wright Patterson Air Force Base Honor Guard will present the colors.  Other special activities related to the Hometown Heroes™ Celebration will also take place between games. 

Only tickets printed with the date Saturday, May 21, 2016 will be honored.

Fans holding tickets for the Friday, May 20 game should retain their ticket stubs as a rain check.

Fans can exchange their May 20 game tickets for a ticket of equal or lesser value; or fans may exchange one (1) stadium seating bowl ticket for two (2) lawn tickets for any remaining Dragons home game during the 2016 season, based upon availability. This can be done at the Dragons Box Office at Fifth Third Field.

The Dragons will post an exchange form on their web site for fans wishing to process their exchange via mail.
