Dayton VA unveils new wheelchair-accessible ramp

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — The Dayton VA has debuted its new wheelchair-accessible ramp and sidewalk.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at the center’s historic grotto on Saturday.

The event was part of the annual Patriot Freedom Festival on the campus during the Memorial Day weekend.

The ramp stretches along the grotto’s perimeter.

It was done in collaboration with the Dayton VA engineers, the American Veterans Heritage Center, and The Home Depot store in Centerville. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
