DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — The 25th Annual “Furry Skurry” 5k brought out man’s best friend to the Eastwood Metro Park.
The Humane Society-Greater Dayton put on the event which helps benefit the animal shelter.
They had over a thousand people and more than 35 vendors at the park on Saturday.
There was also a dog trick show for people to enjoy.
“Lots of activity, lots of celebration to celebrate pets in our community and to give awareness to all the things the Humane Society does to help animals,” said Brian Weltge, CEO of Humane Society – Greater Dayton.
The Humane Society is the area’s largest no-kill animal welfare agency.
