LEBANON, Ohio (WDTN) – The Ohio State Highway Patrol announced Friday they will be holding an OVI checkpoint Friday in Clark and Warren Counties.
The Warren County checkpoint will run in conjunction with the Warren County Sheriff’s Office. Troopers and Deputies will begin their work at 8 p.m.
The checkpoint will operate near SR-123 and I-75 in Franklin Township until 10 p.m. There will also be extra patrols in the area on the lookout for impaired drivers.
There are also two planned for Clark County. they will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Dayton-Springfield Road and SR-235 until 10 p.m.
The OVI checkpoints are funded by federal grants as part of a continuing effort to intercept impaired drivers.
