1 killed, 1 injured in Sunday motorcycle crash

ST. CLAIR TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) – The Butler County Sheriff’s Office said one person was killed and another injured in a motorcycle crash Sunday.

The accident happened around 8:30 Sunday night in the 2800 block of Somerville Jacksonburg Road in Butler County.

The preliminary investigation shows there were two people on the motorcycle when it collided with a car.  The driver of the 2012 Yamaha, Jeffrey Craig, 57 from Hamilton, Ohio was pronounced dead at the scene.  His passenger, 58-year-old Marcia Craig was taken to the hospital for serious but non-life threatening injuries.  The driver of the car did not sustain any injuries. The people on the motorcycle were not wearing helmets.

The Sheriff’s Office and the Butler County Coroner’s Office will continue the investigation.
