4 arrested during checkpoint, saturation patrols

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — An OVI checkpoint and saturation patrols net four OVI arrests.

Officers held a checkpoint in the area of East Hillcrest Avenue and North Main Street Friday night.

According to officials, of the 462 drivers that passed through the checkpoint, 29 were diverted, and two were arrested for OVI. Two other drivers were arrested for OVI in nearby saturation patrols.

Officers found two people had misdemeanor warrants. Officials said at total of 39 were cited for driving under suspension and 15 were cited for not having a valid driver’s license.
