HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) – A man with felony warrants out for his arrest remains on the loose Monday night.
Area police are looking for Joshua Kiser, 20, who is wanted in Clark County and Huber Heights for aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.
Amanda, who didn’t want to give her full name, knows Kiser and dialed 911 when he showed up at her Leeper Street home in Huber Heights.
“He was told if he ever comes to my house again, I’m calling the police on him. Which is exactly what I did,” she said.
According to authorities, when officers arrived, Kiser jumped into a vehicle and drove towards an officer. The officer then shot at Kiser before he sped away.
“I looked out the window when I was on the phone with 911. I looked out and saw two cops run out and I heard pop, pop, pop, pop. You just started hearing gunfire go crazy,” Amanda said.
Police have yet to confirm if Kiser was shot by Huber Heights police before fleeing to Harrison Township, police say. There, he jumped into a gold Taurus and remains on the run from police.
Authorities say he is known to flee from police and has a history with weapons but cannot confirm if he was armed during the incident.
Two other people were arrested near the Huber Heights scene after fleeing from officers. They were arrested to be questioned. One woman, also on scene stayed and cooperated with authorities.
Anyone knowing Kiser’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Huber Heights Police Division at 937-233-2080. Authorities say he’s easily identifiable as he has the word “savage” tattooed on his face and neck.
