Franklin police search for bank robbery suspect

FRANKLIN, Ohio (WDTN) – Franklin police are searching for a white male, wearing a gray ballcap, gray button up shirt and khaki pants after he is accused of robbing a People’s Bank Friday.

It happened just after 4:30 p.m. at 1400 E. Second St. in Franklin.

The man handed the teller a note and left the bank with an undetermined amount of cash, according to a press release from Franklin police.

He then left on foot toward Kettering/Franklin Hospital, according to the release. The suspect was seen in the parking lot of Kettering/Franklin Hospital, entering a gray extended cab truck, possibly a Chevrolet with a black tool box in the rear of the truck. He then left the lot onto state Route 73, according to the release.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Franklin Police Department at 937-746-2882.
