CENTERVILLE, Ohio (WDTN) – The developers of Cornerstone of Centerville are preparing for several new announcements in the coming months.
The 156-acre property may not look full, but developer George Oberer says most of it is in negotiations with retailers and restaurants there.
“The activity has been tremendous. The northside of Feedwire and east of Wilmington Pike, I’m happy to say all of the sites are spoken for,” he said.
He says construction on Kroger and Kroger Fuel is moving along quickly and expects it to open before Christmastime.
Home2 Suites by Hilton is under contract along Wilmington Pike near Brown Road. Another hotel site is in negotiations behind Costco.
Construction on an amphitheater around the pond area is set to begin in the coming weeks. It will be surrounded by three restaurants, including a breakfast place and a retail shop.
Four retailers are expected to set up shop in the buildings next to Bagger Dave’s.
A senior living facility is under contract behind Cabela’s.
Nearly 30 acres will be used for residential and office use, which is currently under contract as well.
Previously announced stores include:
- Bagger Dave’s Burger Tavern
- 5-STAR Nutrition
- Cheddar’s Casual Cafe
- Mattress Firm
- Great Clips
- Wright Patt Credit Union
- First Financial Bank to open near Panda Express
- Chick Fil A
Cornerstone South is ready for development. Oberer says to expect a third hotel, office space, and housing.
