Bicyclist dies after being hit by vehicle Friday

DAYTON (WDTN) – A man dies is in after being hit by a car while on his bicycle.

Man in critical condition after being struck on his bicycle on Revere Ave.

It happened around 11:45 p.m. on Thursday night near the intersection of Revere Avenue and Haskins Avenue.

Edward T. Angi, 58, of Dayton died Friday afternoon at 12:02 p.m. at Miami Valley Hospital.

Dayton Police say Angi was riding his bicycle in the street when he was struck by an unknown vehicle.

The vehicle is described as a 1999 to 2004 black BMW 3-series, according to police. It’s missing its driver’s-side mirror. The driver is suspected to be a white male with brown hair.

The investigation into the accident is ongoing. If you have any information about the case, you’re asked to call police.
