Pedestrian killed in Warren County crash

WARREN COUNTY, Ohio (WDTN) — Troopers with the Lebanon post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol are investigating a crash that claimed the life of a pedestrian.

The crash happened Saturday around 10:40 p.m. on State Route 28 near Morrow-Rossburg Road in Harlan Township.

According to officials, Matthew Graus, 33, of Loveland, was driving a 2007 Subaru when he hit and killed Everett E. Saxon, 50, of Batavia. Troopers said Saxon was walking in the road when he was hit and killed. They said he was not wearing any reflective apparel and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Graus was transported to Bethesda North Hospital where he was treated and released.
