Crews respond to a fire in the basement of a Trotwood home

TROTWOOD, Ohio (WDTN) – Crews respond to a fire in the basement of a Trotwood home.

Firefighters were called to the 50 Devonshire Avenue just after 11:30 Sunday morning.

When crews arrived they found clothes on fire in the basement.

Several people were inside the home when the fire started but made it out safely.

The fire caused minor damage to the structure.

The cause is under investigation.
