GERMAN TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) – The woman who died in fire in Clark County Thursday night has been identified as 70-year-old Doris Rehs.

It happened in the 1700 block of Baker Road in German Township around 7:30 p.m.

“The material they’re made out of just makes them burn rapidly and the individual who lived here was somewhat disabled so that probably added to it but we still have some investigating to do before we can tell who it was and if it was male or female,” said Chief Tim Holman.

Authorities say the victim had multiple oxygen tanks inside the home which helped fuel the fire. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
