Dayton Celtic Festival to draw 90,000 downtown

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — The annual Dayton Celtic Festival is expected to bring in around 90,000 visitors to downtown this weekend.

Road closures: Patterson Blvd., Monument Ave., and St. Clair Street from First St. to Monument.

Parking: RTA will shuttle attendees to the festival site from two parking garages: 101 E. Fifth St. (Transportation Center Garage), and 131 S. Main St. (Reibold Garage). RTA buses will operate in a continuous loop north on Jefferson, west on Monument, south on Ludlow, and east on Fifth Street. The bus will take a small loop around Bainbridge, Hugo, Wayne Avenue, and travel back onto Fifth.

Hours for Shuttle Service:
Friday– 5:30 p.m.- 11:30 p.m.
Saturday– 11:30 a.m.- 11:30 p.m.
Sunday– 9:30 a.m.- 6:30 p.m.

Officials warn to park early with the Dayton Dragons also in town this weekend.

The festival will feature six headline bands, a 5-K run, and plenty of festival food and beer tastings.
