NWS confirm tornado touch down in Darke County

DARKE COUNTY, Ohio (WDTN) – The National Weather Service has confirmed two tornadoes touched down Saturday evening.

Survey crews followed the tornadoes path, confirming one spun up in Darke County and the other in Delaware County in the Columbus, OH area.

National Weather Service (NWS) crews says that damage 5 miles southwest of Bradford is “tornadic in nature and consistent with a higher end EF0 tornado”

The survey is in relation to the severe thunderstorms that moved through the area Saturday evening.

Damage was also reported in Auglaize, Shelby and Miami Counties.
